Do you know where or how to get tested?

Residents who believe they have been exposed to the virus and have symptoms should call their physician or an urgent care clinic for an assessment, and if appropriate, a referral. People with no insurance and no established provider experiencing coronavirus-like symptoms (e.g. fever, cough, shortness of breath) should call CommUnityCare at 512-978-8775. CommUnityCare will triage people over the phone and send them to the appropriate location.

The Texas Workforce Commissioners office has stated that it is receiving a large influx of online visitors and some people are unable to reach the site because of this. They are recommending to apply online during their low volume hours which they have identified as between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
