Here is an online self-screening tool for you to assess whether you should go see a doctor or not.
Do you know where or how to get tested?
Residents who believe they have been exposed to the virus and have symptoms should call their physician or an urgent care clinic for an assessment, and if appropriate, a referral. People with no insurance and no established provider experiencing coronavirus-like symptoms (e.g. fever, cough, shortness of breath) should call CommUnityCare at 512-978-8775. CommUnityCare will triage people over the phone and send them to the appropriate location.

- Childcare Assistance – Texas Rising Star offers financial assistance for child care.
- 211 Texas – This is a social service hotline that helps people in the region find information about local resources available to them. Visit the website or call 211.
Don’t go hungry. If you need food assistance, please reach out to one of the following:
- Schools Offering Free Breakfast & Lunch – A helpful article from The Central Texas Food Bank with concise information on what school districts are providing free food for students.
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program has food programs for Women, Infants, and Children.
- Meals on Wheels – Meals on Wheels offers a variety of programs aimed at providing meals to at-risk seniors and children.
- Central Texas Food Bank – A map of multiple meal options available to all Austin residence. From pantries and grocery delivery, to hot meals.

The Texas Workforce Commissioners office has stated that it is receiving a large influx of online visitors and some people are unable to reach the site because of this. They are recommending to apply online during their low volume hours which they have identified as between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
